"When you want some southern comfort dinning and a place that feels like home, stop in and stay a while at the Town House Cafe. A place where you feel like family and taste the infamous SPLIT! Yum Yum!"

                                                                                                                                                                            - Sheila Williams

"Great food, atmosphere, fellowship, and service. Every city need a cafe like the TOWN HOUSE . World famous for the "Split"."

                                                                                                                                                                            - Chester Maurice Benton

"Candied yams, collards, fried okra, cornbread and the best fried chicken I believe I've had. Mr Hamm knows how to keep people coming back. The burgers and fries are phenomenal, and all this packaged with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere that is kind-of like going back in time to a place where everyone knows everyone, and they aren't afraid to say hello! One of my absolute favorites!"

                                                                                                                                                                            - Brian B.  -  Oxford, GA

"Walking into the Town House Cafe is like walking back in time. The exterior has starred in a Tyler Perry movie but the food served inside is the real star. Well, maybe Mr Hamm is the real star. He is the nicest man, serving up great blue plate specials in a restaurant that has remained unchanged for decades. I just love knowing this kind of place still exists. If you happen to be there and see a cake on the cake stand, buy a slice. No matter what kind of cake, a slice of one of Mr Hamm's cakes is absolute bliss. Good food and a good price served by some of the nicest folk on earth. I love the Town House Cafe."

"Tyler Perry picked this place for a reason.  The sliders are the best!"

                                                                                                - Kai Rush

"First time to eat there today, as I was in Covington on a business trip from Atlanta. Fresh was an understatement. Everything was cooked to order. NOT your typical substandard meat n three restaurant. The fried chicken was cooked perfectly, not greasy. The fried okra, collards, and potato salad were all delicious! The cornbread was cut into 2 slices and lightly seared in what I'm sure was an iron skillet. Delicious from first bite to the last. Can't wait to go back!! 5stars!"

"Great breakfast and lunch menu. Very affordable. Friendly wait staff. Been in business for many years located in downtown Covington! One of Tyler Perry's movie scenes was filmed here. Enjoy this place!"

"Wow...I was just reminiscing about Hamm's Cafe last week. Those cheeseburgers and season fries. (So good) Mr. Hamm invented the seasoned fries...lol. A must visit when I'm back in Covington."
